The Deep-Gullet band blade is a high-performance cutting-edge solution designed to enhance chip evacuation and improve cutting precision, especially when tackling larger logs. Gullet depth is the distance from the bottom of the gullet to the blade tip. The SabreTooth deep-gullet profile increases the blade’s capacity to carry sawdust through the cut and, in many applications, boosts performance when cutting wide boards.

IMPORTANT: In all cases, regular and precise blade maintenance is critical to milling straight, smooth lumber and prolonging blade life. Sharpen your blades at least every couple of hours of milling and reset the teeth regularly. Sorry, there is no warranty on consumable items such as belts, blades or bearings.

A BLADE DESIGNED FOR WIDE CUTS

Gullet depth is the distance from the bottom of the gullet to the blade tip and plays a critical role in managing sawdust. The SabreTooth Deep Gullet profile has added space in the gullet which allows more sawdust to be carried before reaching capacity. This specialized feature boosts performance, particularly when milling wide boards.
